The artist
Leslie Permuter Brownstein has been an artist her entire life.
She began her career in ceramics and, for the past 25 years, has worked in painting and drawing, primarily in oils and ink.
Her work is figurative, with the influence of her standard poodle, Blanche, never far away. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
